I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
